Payments

To assist our customers in paying their accounts, several payment methods and options are available.

When paying by mail, the following forms of payment are accepted:

• Cheques
• Cashier cheques
• Money orders
• Bank cheques

When paying online or using a Telephone, the following forms of payment are accepted:

• Visa®, MasterCard®, credit and debit cards
• Telephone Direct Debit Setup
• BPAY

When paying in person, the following forms of payment are accepted:

• Personal Cheques
• Credit Union cheques
• Money orders
• Bank cheques
• Traveller's cheques
• Cash

General Payment Policies:

• Post-dated cheques cannot be accepted, and will be returned.
• A minimum fee of $30.00, plus all additional delinquency penalties and collection costs, will be charged for any remittance returned by the bank for any reason.
• Remittances which do not clear the payer's financial institution shall not be considered paid and all resultant fees, interest, delinquency penalties, and collection costs shall be charged to the taxpayer.
• Payment of this bill does not prevent the collection of previous unpaid amounts, nor does an error in the name of the person(s) owing money prevent collection.
• PARTIAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. However, partial payments will NOT delay future agreed billings, or extend payment periods, or prevent interest and costs from accruing.
